If she is mostly with you, she is in love too....perhaps as confused as you are. Though you may be older to her, you must be having the same maturity like her (girls mature faster, you see). Take her to a place where she is comfortable, and speak your mind, carefully. I am sure something positive will happen. Even if she just walks away or gets angry or tell a NO, don't force your decision on her. Just be patient. Don't sulk and turn to drinking/ smoking as they signify your weekness of character. Bear with time, be still her friend, and the outcome will surely be positive. So you see, the bitter pill (professor's class) has given a new dimension to your life. Great going.
