I can’t believe John is transferring to my school. Probably the best news I’ve gotten all week. I miss him and my other friends from home, but now it won’t be as bad. I’ll be able to spend time with him more often.

Today after class, I tried to figure out why people believe in their religions so much. If someone came forward today and said, “God has been speaking to me every night for the past two years. I have written down all He has told me. The book is called the Modern Testament,” he would probably be labeled as a nut case. However, that basically is what a prophet is.

Friday night was crazy. My friends and I all met up at Mike’s house, but plans changed. Mike was supposed to throw a party, but instead we heard about some other one at one of Aaron’s friends’ frat. We decided to head over there instead. There was no parking anywhere because it was so packed, so we ended up having to walk two blocks.

I just woke up a little while ago and it is mid-afternoon already. Having Fridays off is the best. My friends are all going to Mike’s house tonight, so I will probably be heading there later.

This whole religion thing really blows my mind. When my professor was talking about some of the rules associated with various religions, I couldn’t help but wonder how brainwashed people must be to actually follow this shit.
