I read your entry... it seems your piece did a complete "turn around" in the middle there. I'm not sure how old you are... I just turned 27 and my parents said the same thing to me and my brother. I have never celebrated Halloween in my life. Maybe me and my brother are just weird... but we actually enjoyed not participating. It was fun for us to sit out and do whatever we wanted while everyone paraded around and looked stupid. LOL *shrugs* I hardly feel traumatized because my parents didn't let me celebrate Halloween. Honestly, it's funny how when you get older things like you described don't really matter as much. I look back on that time and laugh. The stuff I thought was a big deal really isn't in the grand scheme of things! :p Anyways, I'm sorry you are feeling the way you do. Hi!
