I am so furious. I cannot believe the things dad said. His comments are the exact reason why I despise religion. I have no respect for their extreme beliefs and faith. It is all so much bullshit.

He has the nerve to say “cancer was a test from God” and “Aunt Lizzie’s cancer is part of His master plan.” What the fuck? “A test from God?” What kind of god would do something so horrible to a good person? I can’t believe anyone would even believe that for a second. His fucking sister is dying and he thinks it’s part of Gods plan. I CAN’T STAND THIS

I’m starting to get a bit suspicious of this whole thing. The entries on this site used to be fairly well written thoughtful pieces, then there was a huge gap and now it’s all swearing and ranting. Just seems a bit sus to me.

People aren’t allowed to be angry?

When I’m very angry or depressed or whatever, I tend to write lesser quality entries. Sometimes emotions just cloud your brain and your normal bahaviors go out the door.

I’m just wondering. This is a very beautiful idea and congratulations to you, John, for your efforts in writing them. There is a new blog which has started, which is a meeting place for bloggers from all around the world. It already has quite a large audience as people are watching to see it develop. It’s an open blog, where anyone can post. I’m wondering that if it takes the time to write up the posts on the days entry, would there be any advantage in just hitting the copy button and then adding the entry to this new blog? The idea is that people would see it unfold there, as well, with links on each entry to bring people back here to find the fuller entries. Not sure if it helps but it’s there for you. I know of another blogger who is about to post there about some personal things, in diarised form, as well. The new blog is here.

Good luck with this, it really is a beautiful thing.
